FAQ – Designs by Megin

What are your terms of use? What is allowed?

We love small businesses at Designs by Megin! Because of this, all files come with a Commercial License for Small Business Use. You are allowed to use the files as they are or modify them to create physical products for personal use or for commercial use sale. The designs are also approved for creating and selling transfers.

You cannot make my images available for digital download, resell or redistribute them as is or modified, in digital form. You cannot upload files or elements from them on exclusively “print-on-demand” marketplaces. You can use a print on demand partner for your own personal online storefront, such as your Etsy, WordPress or Shopify shop.

Please Note: The terms of use for commercial use designs are limited to products with no existing trademarks relating to the purchased designs. While we try to stay diligent in checking our designs for trademarked phrases, some may slip through or be registered any time after the design has been created for sale. Please research your text and design trademarks. In the event of a dispute over your products and the trademark holder, Designs by Megin will not be held responsible, as we do not delegate which products the purchaser uses the purchased design on, for sale or profit. In other words, if there is a current trademark valid specifically on shirts that say “I Love Unicorns”, it is not recommended to use an “I Love Unicorns” design from Designs by Megin on your shirts to sell for profit. By purchasing our products, you agree to our terms of use.

How do I download my purchase and open my files?

All purchased designs will be available to download after checkout on the payment completion page. You will also be emailed a copy of your downloads.
Please note: All ZIP folders must be fully extracted or unzipped in order to access your downloaded files.
How to unzip files on a Windows Computer:
1. Right-click the downloaded ZIP folder.
2. Select Extract All from the popup menu. The file will automatically be decompressed into the same folder as the downloaded ZIP.

How to unzip files on a Mac
1. Double click the downloaded ZIP folder.
2. The file will automatically be decompressed into the same folder as the downloaded ZIP.

How to unzip files on iPhone or iPad
1. Open the Files app, then find the downloaded ZIP folder.
2. Tap on the ZIP folder.
3. A folder will be made containing your files.

Can I see a sample of your designs before I purchase?

Absolutely! We have plenty of free designs available in our Free Design Section, with more added regularly.

What payment methods can I use to make a purchase?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, etc.) and Paypal.

What are is your refund or exchange policy?

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges. Once a digital file is downloaded, it cannot be returned. However, if you encounter any issues with your purchase, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist in resolving any problems.
